Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 28, 2026 · Last updated: August 28, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Velkoda LLC ("Velkoda," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the United States, collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes information in connection with the website located at https://velkoda.com (the "Site"). Velkoda LLC is the controller of any Personal Information processed through the Site.
For the purposes of this Policy, "Personal Information" means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with an identified or identifiable natural person. Information that has been aggregated or anonymized such that it can no longer reasonably be linked to an individual is not Personal Information.
By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please do not use the Site.
2. Information We Collect
The Site is an informational company website. It does not offer user accounts, contact forms, comment functionality, newsletter subscriptions or payment processing, and we do not require you to provide any Personal Information in order to browse it. We collect only the limited categories of information described below.
- Usage data. Through Vercel Web Analytics we receive anonymous, aggregated information about how the Site is used, including pages viewed, referring website, approximate country or region, device type, browser and operating system. This information is collected without cookies or persistent identifiers, and IP addresses are not stored as part of the analytics data.
- Server and edge logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., automatically records technical information when your browser requests content from the Site. Such logs may include your IP address, user agent, the requested URL, timestamps and related request metadata. These logs are maintained for security and operational purposes and are retained for a limited period.
- Correspondence. If you contact us by email, we receive your name (if provided), your email address, the content of your message and any attachments or other information you choose to include.
We do not knowingly collect any sensitive or special categories of Personal Information, and we ask that you do not send such information to us by email.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- to operate, maintain, secure and deliver the Site to you;
- to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site so that we may improve its content, structure and performance;
- to detect, prevent and investigate security incidents, abuse, fraud and other unlawful or harmful activity;
- to respond to inquiries you send to us and to maintain a record of our correspondence with you;
- to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process and governmental requests; and
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use Personal Information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and United Kingdom)
If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA") or the United Kingdom, we process your Personal Information only where we have a valid legal basis under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or the UK GDPR, as applicable. Our legal bases are as follows:
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), for operating and securing the Site, maintaining server logs, measuring aggregate usage of the Site, and responding to and keeping records of correspondence. We have assessed that these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms, given the limited and non-intrusive nature of the processing.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)), where you have voluntarily provided information to us, such as by sending us an email. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 10.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site does not set cookies of its own, and we do not use pixels, local storage identifiers, device fingerprinting or similar tracking technologies for advertising, cross-site tracking or the identification of individual visitors.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to operate without cookies and without persistent identifiers. It relies on non-identifying request attributes to compile aggregate statistics and does not track visitors across different websites. Because no cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is displayed on the Site.
Your browser may transmit "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. Because the Site does not engage in tracking or the sale or sharing of Personal Information, our processing is the same regardless of whether such signals are present.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on a limited number of third-party service providers to operate the Site. These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only as necessary to provide their services to us.
- Vercel Inc. provides hosting, content delivery network (CDN) and edge infrastructure for the Site, and provides Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel's servers may be located in the United States. Information about Vercel's analytics privacy practices is available at https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.
- Email provider. Our email is delivered and stored through a third-party email service provider. Messages you send to us, and our replies, are processed by that provider on our behalf.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that our service providers maintain appropriate confidentiality and security obligations with respect to Personal Information.
7. Data Retention
We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Aggregated analytics data does not constitute Personal Information and may be retained indefinitely.
- Server and edge logs maintained by our hosting provider are retained for a limited period consistent with that provider's security and operational practices, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
- Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a reasonable record of our communications, after which it may be deleted.
When Personal Information is no longer required, we will delete it or render it anonymous in accordance with applicable law.
8. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent or otherwise share Personal Information with third parties for advertising, marketing or any other commercial purpose. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. To the third-party service providers described in Section 6, to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf.
- Legal compliance. Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
- Protection of rights and safety. Where necessary to enforce this Policy, to protect the rights, property or safety of Velkoda LLC, our users or the public, or to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues.
- Business transfers. In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, in which case the recipient will be bound by obligations no less protective than those set out in this Policy.
9. International Data Transfers
Velkoda LLC is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in any other jurisdiction in which our service providers maintain facilities. The data protection laws of these jurisdictions may differ from, and may be less protective than, those of the country in which you reside.
Where Personal Information originating from the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another jurisdiction with data transfer restrictions is transferred to the United States, we and our service providers rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, which may include standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK Information Commissioner's Office, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms. You may contact us using the details in Section 15 for further information about the safeguards applied.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your place of residence and subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your Personal Information:
- Access — to request confirmation of whether we process your Personal Information and to obtain a copy of it;
- Rectification — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information;
- Erasure — to request deletion of your Personal Information;
- Restriction — to request that we limit the processing of your Personal Information;
- Portability — to receive your Personal Information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
- Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests; and
- Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@velkoda.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we may decline requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive or otherwise not required by law. We will respond within the timeframes prescribed by applicable law.
10.1 Residents of the EEA and the United Kingdom
If you are located in the EEA or the United Kingdom, the rights described above are afforded to you under the GDPR or the UK GDPR, as applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, or, in the United Kingdom, with the Information Commissioner's Office. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you approach a supervisory authority.
10.2 Residents of California
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), may provide you with additional rights. In the preceding twelve months we have collected the following categories of Personal Information: identifiers (such as email address and IP address in server logs) and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as aggregated browsing data and request metadata). We collect this information from you directly and from your device, for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclose it only as described in Section 8.
We do not sell Personal Information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under sixteen years of age. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to know what Personal Information we collect, use and disclose; the right to request deletion of your Personal Information; the right to correct inaccurate Personal Information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. You may exercise these rights by emailing info@velkoda.com. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, provided that we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13), or under the age of sixteen (16) in the EEA and the United Kingdom, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If you believe that a child has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us at info@velkoda.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly.
12. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the nature of the information and the risks involved in processing it. These measures include the use of encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the Site and reliance on reputable service providers with established security programs.
Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you transmit to us, including by email, is transmitted at your own risk.
13. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to websites, products or services operated by third parties. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit. This Policy applies solely to information collected through the Site.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Site, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date set out above. Material changes will be indicated by an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
